From my time in Colombia to my present life in Philadelphia, I have experimented with black and white film photography and found this medium to be a rich and exceptional approach to express my perspectives of the world around me. While combining my passion in architecture with photography, I love to play with simple forms from an often overlooked point of views to create compositions that play on concepts of balance, contrast, perception and proportion to emphasize the subject’s beauty.

For the City Photo Exhibition: this collection is the culmination of my past four years of study of urban landscapes, where I have sought to create interesting compositions through the use of unique viewpoints, extreme perspectives and attention to overlooked details. These pictures are the result of both careful exploration and serendipity as I explored my cities to find that hidden everyday beauty that surrounds us all.
